The Opportunity:

We're looking for a talented and passionate Part-Time Floral Designer to join our creative team. You'll help bring our clients' visions to life, ensuring every arrangement exceeds expectations while supporting daily shop operations.

Responsibilities:

Design & Creation: Design and assemble custom floral arrangements for retail, events, weddings, and funerals, ensuring freshness and aesthetic appeal.

Customer Service: Consult with clients (in-person, phone, online) to understand needs, suggest options, and process orders efficiently.

Inventory Management: Care for fresh flowers, manage stock, order supplies, and maintain an organized, clean workspace.

Order Fulfillment: Prepare arrangements for timely delivery or pickup, assisting with packing and potentially local delivery.

Sales Support: Help with general sales, merchandising, and maintaining beautiful shop displays.

Trend Awareness: Stay updated on current floral trends and design techniques.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in floral design (portfolio appreciated).

Strong artistic eye and creativity.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Physical ability to lift flowers/supplies (up to 40lbs) and stand for shifts.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or event days.
